Richard Feyman Quotations

“It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with the experiment, it's wrong”

“Our imagination is stretched to the utmost, not, as in fiction, to imagine things which are not really there, but just to comprehend those things which 'are' there.”

Developmental Behaviourial Modelling DBM

"We are all modellers in a naturalistic way. We all have our models and our own way of building them. What if we understood more about these models and how we build them and developed new, more effective ways to change them? This would involve product, process and principle. This has been the aim of DBM."

Snooker Loopy & Local Legends

Snooker Loopy & Local Legends

Having played snooker a number of years ago, recently I have joined padiham snooker club in North East Lancashire a hotbed of snooker where players from age 6 to 76 play to a variety of standards. The club is run br Paul Rinaldi a former ex professional who is well known throughout the game. The revisiting of an old pastime is interesting as the standard of this club is much higher than other clubs I have previously visited.

Paul has made several 147s and the club is supported by a number of good players including "snooker legend" Derek Thompson who all visiting professionals view with trepidation. The Legend like some of the other players have played visting professionals like Mark Williams, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis, Alex Higgins, Jimmy White, Cliff Thorburn and others.

One of the good aspects of seeing a variety of top players close up is that you can clearly differentiate the change in standards between the quality of play. The other key distinction is precision and level of precision to various aspects of the game. Paul Rinaldi has been around the block and can offer coaching as a WPBSA coach that will highlight and correct faults in your game. The art and science of precision cueing has been a revelation. This just highlights the principle that you cannot deliver a quality product with flaws in the process. So stance, setup, grip, movement on the shot, feathering, rythmn are all important aspects of delivering that cue in a straight line.

So there is precision in technique, consistency and being able to replicate a cueing action accurately. A mindset to support the delivery of the consistency. Its quite simple when you say it quickly.

Systemic Business Modelling
Many consultancies offer fixed prescribed solutions for a variety of organisations. Business Modelling uses a process with no fixed assumptions but takes each organisation as unique in terms of its requirements and the potential solutions available.

One of key aspects of systemic consultancy is the dynamic relationship between the organisation, its management and the consultant engaged.
